&. Comm. 1230: LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION-ACT-FUNDS
(Bill 504) From Director of Finance- Stanley A. Nakamae dated
July 27, 1979 informing they have been notified
of the commitment of Land and Water Conservation
• Act funds and requests the appropriation to
projects, as listed, that the funds will be used ;
The Council amends the Committee 's recommendation to read : Recommend
Bill 504 be amended by amending ' Section 1 of Ordinance No. 443 by
adding estimated receipts of 3 7 500 from Federal Grants Receivable -
Land and Water- Conservation Act, _ 2 2, 500, and General Obligation -•
Bonds, $65,000, and appropriating to the Department of Parks and
Recreation projects as follows: 1. Pahoa -Park - $40,000 (F) ; 3 . Kaumana
-Park - $175,000 (F) ; 4. Old Carlsmith Property Park Restroom Facility -
$25,000(F) ; 5. Leleiwi Park Improvements - $22, 500(F) and $25,000 (C) ;
6. Kailua Park Improvements -120,000 (F) ; and 7 . Kukuihaele Park
Improvements $40,000 (C) .
Further recommends approval and passage of Bill 504, as amended, on
first reading. -
