&L. Comm. 1222: AGREEMENT WITH HANA NAIA FOR THE USE OF
(Res. 464) NAPOOPOO PARK
From Parks & Recreation Director Milton T. Hakoda
dated July 25, 1979 submitting, in compliance with
Ordinance 364, a resolution to enable the Finance
Director to enter into an agreement with Hana Naia,
a Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin research project, for
the use of Napoopoo Park (Manini Point) ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 464 authorizing the
'Director of Finance to enter'into an agreement with-the University
of California at Santa Cruz for the utilization of certain portions
of Napoopoo Park (Manini Point) for activities specifically related
to the dolphin research project .
