Your Committee on Finance to which was referred : •
Au- Comm. 1317: ANTI-RECESSION FUNDS
(Bill 529) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
September 25, 1979 submitting an ordinance bill
to expend Federal anti-recession funds of
$$7,096 carried over from FY 197$-79 for police
•
salaries, as per the suggestion of the auditors •
that an appropriation be made to show the use
of the anti-recession funds received on
April 12, 197$ so that it can be linked to an
allowable expenditure. Informs the $$7,096 is
part of the $$16 ,06$ in anti-recession funds
which was budgeted in Ordinance No . 371, the
operating budget for FY 197$-79- and that out
of the actual amount received, 696, 560, by
Ordinance No . 363, $609,464 was earmarked for
police salaries ;

recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 529 on first reading. •
