Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Au-Comm. 12$7 .2: BILL 521 (REVISED) RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE
OF $5, 500,000. GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated October 15,
1979 recommending, in order that some flexibility
be allowed the administration in sale of bonds
during this period of high interest rates,
restoration of the provision for issuance of bond
anticipation notes in Bill No. 521 (Revised) .
This provision was included in the original
ordinance bill that was, submitted by letter
dated May 29, 1979;
recommends Council accept the Mayor's recommendation and that an
ordinance bill be prepared to restore the provision for issuance
of bond anticipation notes.
