Your Committee on Finance to which was referred : -
Comm. 1339: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 511) OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
DEPARTMENTS OF PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS & RECREATION,
AND POLICE
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L.
Silva dated October 10, 1979 submitting for
adoption, a resolution to amend the salary
ordinance as a result of studies duly authorized
by the Office of the Mayor, Departments of Public
Works, Parks & Recreation, Police and the Adminis-
trative Review Committee in accordance with
Section 4-5 (c) of the. County Charter;
recommends Council approve the following: (1) reallocation of one position
of Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 to Senior Clerk-Stenographer SR-11 for the
Office of the Mayor; (2) reallocation of one position of Road Construc-
tion and Maintenance Supervisor I WF-10 to Road Construction and
Maintenance Supervisor II FI-10 for the Department of Public Works,
Bureau of Road Construction. and Maintenance (Puna) ; (3 ) reallocation
of one position of Recreation Aid (3/$ T) SR-7 to Building Custodian II
(3/$ T) WB-2 for the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation
Division; (4) changing the rate of' pay of Police Cadet (Work Study
Program) from $2.20 hourly to $2.90 hourly for the Police Department ; and
(5) change the time element ofone position of Community Services Aid I
SR-7 from 3/4 time to full time for the Department. of Parks and
Recreation, Elderly Activities Division® .
Further recommends adoption of the accompanying Resolution 511 to
accomplish this purpose.
