Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
ILLComm. 1351: STATE GRANTS-IN-AID FOR ERADICATION OF MARIJUANA
(Bill 536) From Director. of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
October 23, 1979 submitting for adoption, an
ordinance bill appropriating funds in the amount
of $39,600, received from the State of Hawaii as
distribution of additional grants-in-aid to be
used for eradication of -marijuana, to be trans-
ferred to the Department of Defense, State of
Hawaii, for reimbursing the National Guard for
use of equipment and resources ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 536 on first reading.
