Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
ku. Comm. 1360: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 517) FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L.
Silva .dated October 26, 1979 submitting for
adoption, a resolution. to amend the salary
ordinance from the initial allocation of new
positions listed in the 1979 Salary Ordinance
and adopted by the County Council, Informs the
rationale is a result from their review of the
position's duties and responsibilities assigned
by the department heads;
•
recommends Council approve the reallocation of one position of Senior
Clerk (EMS Program) SR-l0 to Clerk-Typist SR-8 for the Fire Department
and the retitling of one position of Driver License Examiner/Crossing.
Guard Program Director SR-15 to Traffic Services Aid SR-15 for the
Police Department ; and the accompanying Resolution 517 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose.
