Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1398 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS
(Res.. 535) DEPARTMENTS OF PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS & RECREATION,,
AND FINANCE
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L.
Silva dated December 3, 1979 submitting for
adoption, a resolution to amend the Salary
Ordinance as a result of classification studies
duly authorized by the Department of . Public Works,
Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of
Finance , and the Administrative Review Committee
in accordance with Section 4-5 (c) of the County
Charter;
recommends Council approve the reallocation of one position of
Lubrication Worker WB-5 to Construction Equipment Mechanic WB-11
for the Division of Automotive Equipment and Motor Pool, Department
of Public Works ; the .reallocation of one position of Recreation
Instructor SR-9, to Clerk-Typist SR-8 for the Recreation Division,
Department of Parks and Recreation; the abolishment of one position
of Accountant II SR-18 effective January 1, 1980 and the reallocation
of one position of Clerk-Typist SR-8 to Treasury Clerk I SR-12 (State
funded-exempt positions) ' for the Treasury Division, Department of
Finance, (:State Motor Vehicle Registration' and Weight Tax) . •

Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 535 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose.
