Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
Comm. 1427 : AMENDMENT TO SALARY ORDINANCE •
(Res . 541) OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated December 27, 1979 submitting for adoption,
a resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a
result of court action which specifies that
Mr. Peter C . Aiona, . Jr. , shall be offered civil
service status as a county employee in the
position of Special Investigator SR-24;
pursuant to the Consent Decree filed in the United States District
Court, District of Hawaii, Civil Action No . 75-0291, recommends
Council approve theaddition of one new position of Special
Investigator SR-24 for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and
that the accompanying Resolution 541 be adopted to accomplish this
purpose.
