Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
Comm. 1434 : BOND COUNSEL FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 11,
(Bill 5$4) DISCOVERY HARBOR
From Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess dated
January 4, 19$0 requesting, pursuant to Section 5-2 .5
of the Hawaii County Charter, an appropriation of an
additional 37, 500 to hire Mr. Robert Hill as bond
counsel in conjunction with Improvement District 11,
Discovery Harbor;
recommends, 'pursuant to Section 5-2.5 of the County Charter, Council
grant authorization to hire Mr. Robert Hill as bond counsel for
Improvement District No . 11, and that the total appropriation shall
not exceed $7, 500.
Further recommends approval and adoption of Bill 5$4 on first reading
to appropriate the sum of $20, 500 to pay for legal services and
out-of-pocket expenses in the administration of Improvement District
• No . 11: Alan Okamoto (C-134$/FC-236) - $13 , 000; and Robert J . Hill
(C-1434) - 67, 500.
