Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
A . Comm. 1443 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res . 547) DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND FIRE DEPARTMENT
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L.' Silva
dated January 17, 1980 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a result
of a classification study duly authorized by the
Department of Public Works and the Administrative
Review Committee in accordance with Section 4-5 (c )
of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the reallocation of one position of
Building Inspector SR-19 to Building Permit Clerk SR-12 for the
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Building Construction and
Inspection, and the retitling of seven positions of Fire Alarm
Dispatcher SR-12 to Fire Radio Dispatcher SR-12 for the Fire
Department .
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 547 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose .
