LI-4 Comm. 1151: APPROPRIATION OF FUND BALANCES
(Bills 579, From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated January 14,
5$0 5$1 & 1980 submitting ordinance bills to appropriate the
582) $1, 739,620 realized from operations in various
funds during the fiscal year which ended on June 30,
1979 ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bills 579, 5$0, 5$1 and 582 .on
first reading-.
Bill 579 proposes to appropriate $1, 22$, $9$ from the General Fund
Balance to the following accounts: Napoopoo Transfer Station (540, 000) ;
Boom Truck ($60, 000) ; Provision for Collective Bargaining, Salary
Increase ($600,000) ; Laula Road Drainage ($90, 000) ; Waiohinu Flood
Control ($225,000) ; Pohakea Road Bridge (S$0, 000) ; Keaau Senior Citizen
Center ($25,000) ; Seven Seas Building Improvement ($15,000) • Papaikou
Senior Citizen Center ($10, 000) ; and Storm Damage Repairs *3 , 898) .
Bill 5$0 proposes to appropriate $37,435 from the Highway Fund Balance
to the Street Lighting and Traffic Signals account .
Bill 5$1 proposes to appropriate 3227, 527 from the Sewer Fund Balance
to the following accounts : Sewer Line Repairs (S50, 000) and Expansion
of Kailua- Kona Sewage Treatment Plant (3177, 527) .
Bill 5$2 proposes to decrease revenues in the Parking Meter Fund
Balance by $153 and reduce the Parking Meter Contingency by the
same amount .
