& RECREATION (ELDERLY ACTIVITIES DIVISION) , DEPARTMENT
OF PERSONNEL SERVICES, POLICE . DEPARTMENT
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated March 5, 19$0 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a result
- of creation of new positions for the Office of County
Council, and the creation of new positions duly
authorized by the Office of the Safety Coordinator,
Departments of Parks & Recreation, Personnel Services,
Police and the Administrative Review Committee in
accordance with Section 4-5 (c ) of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the addition of the following new positions:
(1) Three Election Warehouse Workers WB-4 (Temporary-as-needed ) for the
Office of County Council;
(2) One Workers ' Compensation Claims Specialist SR-15 for the Office of
the Safety Coordinator;
(3 ) One Assistant Account Clerk (1/2 time) SR-8 for the Department of
Parks & Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, Nutrition Program
(Federal/State/County-Project Funded-Exempt Position) ;
One Assistant Clerk-Typist SR-6 for the
(4) YP Department of Personnel
Services (CETA Title VI position) ; and
(5) Two Assistant Clerk-Typists SR-6 for the Police Department (CETA
Title VI positions) .
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 573 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose .
