Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
Amt Comm. 14$3 : RELOCATION AND PAY INCREASE REQUEST FOR KONA
FELONY DEPUTY PROSECUTOR
From Prosecuting Attorney Jon R. Ono dated
February 13, 19$0 informing he would like to
administratively relocate the Kona Felony Deputy
Prosecutor to Kona when the renovations are
completed at the Kona Services 'Center. At that
time, he plans to appoint Mr. Ronald Ibarra,
presently the Senior Deputy of the Career Criminal
Program, to this position, and increase the
present salary rate from LS-12 (A) , S22,608 per
annum, to LS-12 (E) , $27, 312 per annum, which was
• budgeted for this fiscal year, to commensurate
his experience and dedication to the job . This
increase would need to be reflected in the
19$0-$1 budget ;
recommends Council approve the increase in salary for a Deputy
Prosecuting Attorney from an LS-12 (A) level to an LS-12 (E) level.
