Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
i& Comm. 1 .95 : SPECIAL FUNDS FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS
(Bill 596) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
March 17, 1980 informing many miscellaneous
accounts in special funds for improvement districts
were closed to fund balance at the close of the
last fiscal year. Inasmuch as expenses are
incurred each year for redemption of bonds and
lot sales expenses in some cases, monies must be
set up for such payments; in addition, reserve
fund and penalty amounts must be segregated and
maintained . Accordingly, submits for adoption,
an ordinance bill appropriating amounts in the
special funds for improvement districts;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 596 on first reading .
