Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
,&Comm. 1521: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS
(Res. 590) OFFICE OF COUNTY COUNCIL, DEPARTMENTS OF FIRE, POLICE
AND RESEARCH &. DEVELOPMENT, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
(ENERGY SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROJECT)
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated April 7, 19$0 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a result
of a classification study for the Office of County
Council, and classification studies duly authorized
by the Fire, Police, and the Administrative Review
Committee in accordance with Section 4-5 (c ) of the
County Charter;
recommends Council approve of the following :
(1) Reallocation of one position of Senior Clerk-Typist SR-10 to
Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 in the Office of County Council;
(2) Reallocation of three positions of Fire Fighter SR-16 to Fire
Equipment Operator SR-20 in the Fire Department ;
(3 ) Reallocation of one position of Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 to
Senior Clerk-Stenographer SR-11 in the Police Department ;
(4) Deletion of one position of Dog Warden I SR-7 in the Police
Department, Division of Dog Pound ;
(5) Deletion of one position of Project Manager, $25,000 annum, and
one position 'of Senior Clerk-Stenographer SR-11 in the Office of
the Mayor, Energy Self-Sufficiency Project (Federally funded-
contractual positions) ; and

(6) Deletion of one position of Activities Aide SR-12 (CETA Title II)
and one position of Convention Aide SR-12 (CETA Title VI) in the
Department of Research and Development .
Further recommends adoption of Resolution 590 to accomplish the above
purposes.
