(Res. 594, APPROPRIATION OF FEDERAL AND _STATE FUNDS - POLICE
Bill 609) DEPARTMENT
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
April 9, 19$0 submitting for action, the following :
1. Resolution reallocating funds from Civil Defense
OCE originally provided for office repairs to
purchase of equipment .
2. Ordinance bill appropriating additional revenues
from Federal and State sources for several
training courses for police;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 594 to transfer $13,0$5
from the Civil Defense Agency OCE account to the Equipment account for
the purchase of equipment which are urgently needed for the efficient
operation of the department, especially during emergencies.
Further recommends passage of Bill 609 on first reading to increase
revenues from the Federal Government (LEAA) and State Government (SLEPA)
in the amount of $1, 577 and appropriate to the Homicide and Sex Crimes
Seminar ($171) , Robbery and Burglary Control Workshop ($342) , and
Criminal Investigation Course I ($1,064) .
