(Res. 601) DIVISION
From Director of Finance Stanley A . Nakamae dated
April 15, 19$0 informing they find that charges for
computer processing of motor vehicle registrations
and safety inspections by the City and County of
Honolulu is exceeding appropriations due to the
increased number of transactions as well as the
difficulty in utilizing the present system of
entering changes directly into the computer by
remote terminals .
• As a result, requests transfer of $10, 000 between
accounts in the Treasury Division of the Finance
Department to provide necessary amounts to meet
thelarger expenses for the months of April to
June, 1980;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 601 to transfer $10,000
from the Finance Department, Treasury Division OCE account to the
Motor Vehicle Computerizing Expense account to cover anticipated motor
vehicle data processing costs from City & County of Honolulu for the
months of April to June, 1980.
