Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
kip Comm. 1542 : PAPAIKOU-PAUKAA SEWERAGE SYSTEM
(Bill 625) From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated April 30 , 1980
submitting an ordinance bill appropriating
$2 , 850 ,000 received from the Environmental Protection
Agency for construction of the Papaikou-Paukaa
Sewerage System. Informs the State will add another
$380 ,000 (10% of total estimated project cost of
$3, 800 ,000) , and the County 's share of $570 ,000
(15%) will be provided from appropriations in
Ordinance 128, as well as from Ordinance 46 funds
spent for consultant and other pre-construction
expenses . Additional required funds will be trans-
ferred from left-over balances in the Kulaimano
Sewerage System project;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 625 on first reading.
