Your Committee on Finance to which was referred: --
Z.Q. Comm. 1543 : TRANSFER OF FUNDS
(Res . 613 & From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
614) May 2 , 1980 submitting for approval, two resolu-
tions to transfer funds :
1. Corporation Counsel - $3 , 393 for extension of
contract with attorney to prepare county code
for printing.
2 . Highway - $115,000 for under-estimated electricity
charges and maintenance of street lights ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 613 to provide addi-
tional funds of $3, 393 to take care of an amendment to Contract
No. 80-65, which extends termination date of original contract from
February 29 , 1980 to May 30 , 1980 , for Lester L. Peetz .
Further recommends adoption of Resolution 614 to transfer $115,000 from
the Reimbursement - Debt Service Charges account to Street Lighting &
Traffic Signals (Utilities) - $80 ,000 , and Maintenance of Street Lights
& Traffic Signals - $35,000 , to provide supplemental appropriations to
meet the estimated requirements for the balance of this fiscal year for
electricity charges and for contractual maintenance costs of street
lights.
