REPORT- OF THE - COMMITTEE ON FINANCE May 2$., 19$0 Chairman and Members Hawaii County Council Hilo, Hawaii - Your Committee on Finance to which was referred : Comm. 71.6 : ADVISORY COMMISSION ON CULTURE AND ARTS From Director. of Parks & Recreation dated May 15, 19$0 informing the Mayor is in the process of appointing the members who will serve on the Advisory Commission on Culture and Arts and requests that a sum of 31,471 be appropriated for fiscal year 19$0-$1 so that the Commission can function. The guidelines drafted by the ad hoc committee formed as per Council request and the expenses connected with the Commission were adopted by the Council; (C-71.5/PWC-34 & FC-42) recommends Council approve the appropriation of $1,471 for the Advisory Commission on Culture. and Arts for fiscal year 19$0-$l; and refer to ,Director of Finance to set up the funds .
