Hilo, Hawaii Your Committee on Finance to which was referred : , f Comm. 1538: APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR TOURISM PROMOTION (Bill 621) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated April 25, 1980 submitting a bill appropriating 850,000 to the Department of Research and Develop- ment for tourism promotion. Informs these funds " will enable the County to expand its program promoting use of the Hilo Gateway and travel to the Big Island ; recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 621 on first reading by increasing revenues from private sources (SATW fees) in the amount of $50, 000 and appropriating to the Tourism Promotion account . .
