Your Committee on Finance to which' was referred : -
& Comm. 1581: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS
(Res . 631) DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & POLICE DEPARTMENT
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated May 29, 1980 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a' result
of classification studies duly authorized by the
Department of Public Works and the Administrative
Review Committee in accordance with Section 4-5 (c )
of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the following:
(1) Reallocation of one position of Departmental Safety Representative
SR-13 to Safety and Driver Improvement Coordinator SR-21, Office
of the Chief Engineer, Department of Public Works;
(2) Reallocation of one position of Engineering Aid V SR-19 to Land
Surveyor II SR-19, Bureau of Plans and Surveys, Department of
Public Works ;
(3 ) Reallocation of one position of Superintendent, Division of Automo-
tive Equipment and Motor Pool SR-24 to Automotive Equipment Super-
intendent SR-26, Division of Automotive Equipment and Motor Pool,
Department of Public Works ; and
(4) Retitling of one position of Traffic Services Aid SR-15 to Driver
License Examiner-Traffic Services Aid SR 15, Police Department .
Further recommends adoption of the accompanying Resolution 631 to
accomplish the above . -
