1 ' DATE OF ACCIDENT- MARCH 12, 1980
DAMAGES 'TO WIND'S'HIELD' OF CAR (AMOUNT:' '$391. 00)
From Mrs. ' Melvin Borges dated May 1, 1980 submitting
a claim in the amount of $391. 00 for damages to her
automobile. Informs on March 12, 1980, while
travelling on the Pahoa Highway toward Pahoa, she
stopped to turn left onto Kahakai Boulevard when a
rock was thrown either from a Puna Sugar Company
dump truck or from the, road which was under con-
• . struction by Will.ocks Construction resulting in
damages to her windshield;
1597 .1: From Corporation. Counsel Stephen G. Bess dated
June 20, 1980 informing their investigation indicates
that the claim should be denied;
recommends Council' accept the recommendation of the Corporation Counsel
and _deny the claim of Melvin and Phyllis Borges.
