(Bill 656) KALOKO MAUKA SUBDIVISION
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated .
July 25, 1980 informing by agreements executed at
the time of creation of Improvement District No. 10 ,
it was agreed that rebates from the Hawaii Electric
Light Company (Helco) received by the County over a
five-year period from power charges incurred in the
• operation of the water system would be distributed
to the Department of Water Supply. Further informs
during the five .years of the agreements , the County
has received $47, 880 .95 in rebates. Of this amount,
the Water Department' s share is $46 , 432.09 and
submits an ordinance bill appropriating. said sum for
distribution;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 656 on first reading appropriating
$46, 432. 09 from the fund balance account of the Special Fund for Improve-
ment District No. 10, . Kaloko Mauka Subdivision, to the Department of Water
Supply for payment of Helco refunds.
