' AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL COUNSEL CONTRACT
From Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess 'dated
August 26, . 1980 informing on November 14, 1979,
the Council authorized the hiring of Mr. Alan M.
Okamoto as special counsel in conjunction with
Improvement District No. 11 and approved the amount
of $12, 000 for this contract. Upon payment of the
most recent bill submitted for services rendered up
to June 30, 1980, they find a. balance of $754 . 98
remaining in the contract amount. In reviewing
the amount of work which needs to be performed by
Mr. Okamoto, ' requests authorization to amend the
contract for an additional amount of $10, 000;
recommends .Council approve the request to amend the contract between
. Mr. Alan M. Okamoto and the County of Hawaii for an additional amount
of $10, 000 and .that funds shall. be appropriated from the fund balance
account of Improvement District No. 11, Discovery Harbor Subdivision
and Adjacent Lands.
