(Revised Bill From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
669) September 5, 1980 submitting: a replacement to
Ordinance Bill No. 669 to improve the language
necessary for funding projects authorized by
Ordinance No. 586, the Capital Budget Ordinance
of FY 1980-81.
Informs the change of language is advised by
• Corporation Counsel since proceeds from the
$7, 500, 00.0 :bond . issue of August 1, 1980 cannot
be used for projects other than those specifically
set forth in Section. 8 of, Ordinance No. 482 , as
amended; however, the unissued portion may be
applied to new projects, and such authorization
is being sought so interim funding can be done
through inter-fund borrowing and important projects
in the CIP ordinance can be implemented;
recommends Council approve and..adopt Revised Bill 669 on first reading.
