Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
&Comm. 1647 : DONATION FOR 1981 SUMMER FUN FIELD DAY
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
August 18 , 1980 recommending acceptance of a
donation of $200 from the Japanese Chamber of
Commerce and Industry of Hawaii to help pay for the
cost of the Summer Fun Field Day of 1981. This
• gift is in appreciation for the participation by
the Summer Fun program enrollees in the Inter-
national Festival parade; '
recommends , pursuant to Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,
acceptance of a donation of $200 from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce
and Industry of Hawaii for the Summer Fun Field Day of 1981.
Further recommends that the County Clerk write an appropriate letter
of thanks and appreciation on behalf of the County Council to the
Chamber.
