Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
, Comm. 1701: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS •
(Res . 707) ' POLICE DEPARTMENT (CETA TITLES II & VI)
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated October 10, 19$0 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a result
of classification studies on new positions duly
authorized by the Police Department and the Adminis-
trative Review Committee in accordance with
Section 4-5 (c ) of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the addition of two Assistant Clerk SR-4
positions for the Police Department (CETA Titles II and VI, Federally
funded positions ) , and the accompanying Resolution 707 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose .
