The Hawai`i Fire Department currently utilizes the premises for their Na`alehu ambulance unit which serves Na`alehu and the surrounding community. REQUEST: Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the County of Hawaii Fire Department to enter into a Second Amended Lease Agreement for a two year extension to utilize the premises for the Na`alehu Amulance unit. B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): The County of Hawaii Fire Department currently utilizes the premises consisting of 1,026 square feet owned by Maui Varieties Investments, Inc., identified as a portion of tax map key (3) 9-5-021:026 for the Na`alehu Ambulance unit. The County has occupied the premises to serve the Na`alehu and surrounding community since June 15, 2005.
