De Marco, via Communication 144 dated <br /> February 2, 2017, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 <br /> (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to parking. <br /> The bill amends Section 24-281 (Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow-away <br /> zone), by repealing existing provisions for portions of Derby Lane and Wilson Street, Subsection(c), <br /> South Hilo. <br /> Councilmember Lee Loy reported visiting the surrounding businesses and found no opposition to the <br /> "No Parking" changes.
