Hayashi, dated June 5, 1991, responding to his letter dated May 10, 1991 requesting a time extension to secure Final Plan Approval in compliance with Condition F of Ordinance No. 89-77. States a prior request by Alii Drive Partners for an administrative time extension until October 4, 1991, to comply with Condition F was granted on March 28, 1990, in accordance with Condition R, which also states, "if the applicant should require an additional extension of time, the Planning Director shall submit the applicant's request to the County Council for appropriate action"; therefore, states a request for an additional extension of time in which to comply with Condition F should be submitted to his office for consideration by the Council, accompanied by a $100 filing fee, stating the reasons for the request, the amount of time requested, and the status of the proposed development and the applicant's compliance with the conditions of approval. Further, states conditions of SMA Use Permit No. 278 and Use Permit No. 64, which also affect the subject property, require that conditions of the Change of Zone Ordinance be complied with; however, do not need to be amended to allow the requested time extension and requires no additional filing fees. Comm. 2633: AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE PATTERN (Bill 445) ALLOCATION GUIDE (LUPAG) MAP WAIAKEA, CITY OF HILO, SOUTH HILO TMK: 2-2-33:11. 12, 19 AND 20 From Planning Commission Chairman Pro Tem Mike Luce, dated June 18, 1991, submitting a bill amending the General Plan Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide (LUPAG) Map. States, the amendment, initiated by the Planning Director, as directed by Council Resolution No. 242-90, is for the redesignation of lands from "Medium Density Urban" to "Industrial Area", for approximately 2.57± acres located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Mililani and Piilani Streets. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Comm. 2376: RULE 8 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RELATING TO SHORELINE SETBACK From Legislative Auditor Harry A. Takahashi, dated February 22, 1991, transmitting, as requested, a report of their review comparing suggestions submitted by Public Access Shoreline Hawaii (PASH), as contained in PC-57 Paqe 4 June 25, 1991 Comm. 2376: Comm. 2170, with the Planning Commission's new draft of (Cont'd) its Rule 8. States their review should focus upon whether or not there are areas which the Planning Commission has not addressed and that the Planning Committee may be willing to address. Comm. 2627: RULE 8 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RELATING TO SHORELINE SETBACK PLANNING DEPARTMENT DRAFT 2 From Planning Director Norman K. Hayashi, dated June 10, 1991, informing the Planning Commission reviewed proposed changes to Rule 8 of the Planning Commission, as required by Section 205A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and was continued to allow his office to evaluate comments received and to make appropriate revisions. Informs Draft 2 of Rule 8 will be scheduled for hearing before the Planning Commission on July 2, 1991 in Keauhou, North Kona and welcomes the Council's prior review and comments on the matter.
