COUNTY OF HAWAII •: ? qt.: STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 155 17 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ACQUIRE A PASSENGER VAN FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, ELDERLY ACTIVITIES DIVISION. WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation is providing to the County of Hawaii four 14 passenger vans, and County is responsible for 20 percent of the cost of the vans; and WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division will use the vans for its Coordinated Services for the elderly program to provide transportation for senior citizens and those with disabilities to a wide array of essential services and recreational activities: and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is in need of financial assistance to help defray the County's share of costs needed to acquire one of the four 14-passenger vans, which will be based in West Hawai'i for the Coordinated Services for the Elderly Program; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide financial asisstance of the County's cost-match with the State for the acquisition of one of four vans for the Elderly Activities Division. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: 57,167 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $7,167 CREDITED TO: 010.481.5481.32 Department of Parks and Recreation $7.167 Coordinated Services County OCE 449 Motor Vehicles (I4-Passenger Van—North & South Kona)
