Please send a letter of appreciation to Mr. Iaukca cio the address provided above. REQUEST: Request approval to accept and acknowledge a donation of 6 Dell OptiPlex 760 with a valuation of$50 per unit from Mr. Matthew laukea. The units will be used for replacing existing systems and new initiatives within the Hawaii Police Department. B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): The donation will be used by the Hawaii Police Department to replace computer systems that are beyond warranty/servicing and new program initiatives. In reviewing this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review.
