RE: Contingency Relief Funds-Council District 6
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of
Research and Development to provide a grant to the Big Island Resources Conservation and
Development Council(BIRCDC) to assist the Kona Soil and Water Conservation District(Kona
SWCD) with expenses related to outreach, educational materials, and conducting workshops to
increase community awareness on environmental issues impacting West I lawai`i.
Attached is a resolution authorizing the transfer of$1,500 from the Clerk-Council Services—
Contingency Relief account to the following account and project:
