By Eminent Domain (for Expanded Microwave Radio Tower Site)

Dear Ms. Poindexter:
Transmitted herewith for the County Council's approval is a resolution authorizing the
acquisition of an easement on and over a portion of TMK(3) 9-3-001-006 by eminent domain
- for an expanded microwave radio tower site.
I respectfully request that this resolution be waived past committee meetings to the next
County Council meeting on May 17, 2017, so as not to further delay the construction of a badly
needed new radio tower on this site.

Hawai`i,this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter,timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request
is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
