The mural is painted on two pieces of plywood board, and total measurement of the mural is 8 x 8 feet. The estimated value of the mural is $3500.00. The mural was designed and painted by Michelle Obregon and her Konawaena High School art students. Once the mural is permanently adhered to the outside wall of the Konawaena pool, it will be maintained by the Konawaena arts department and CTE arts and communication department. Maintenance includes cleaning of dirt,dust and graffiti removal. When needed, the mural will be given a fresh coat of varnish.
