NAMING OF STREETS`IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
November 19, 1970 approvedthe following names for certain unnamed
roadways in the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii:
Kaniahiku House Lots, Kaniahiku,'Puna Hawaii
Naele Road - meaning rock crevice, as in the sea; full
of holes, chinks
Halelo Place - meaning jagged, rocky; rocks`
Mako Way - meaning rough, rocky; large
NOW, THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that the said roadway located.,in the County of Hawaii, State
of Hawaii, be named as follows:
Kaniahiku House'Lots, Kaniahiku, Puna, Hawaii (delineated on
. map attached. hereto as "Exhibit A" and made.a part hereof)
Naele Road - meaning -rock -crevice, as in the sea; full
of holes, chinks
Halelo Place - meaning jagged,. rocky.; rocks
Mako Way - meaning rough, rocky; large

The Planning Commission at its regular meeting of November 19,
1970 consideredthe 'proposed street names for the above-named
subdivision.
The Commission recommends the adoption of the attached resolu-
tion to legally name the following streets:
"Naele Road.." - meaning rock crevice, as in the sea; full
of holes, chinks
"Halelo Placd'- meaning jagged, rocky, rocks
"Mako way" - meaning rough, rocky; large
The attached, map describes the location.
