RESOLUTION NO. 215 17
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH ROADWAY DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is in need of funding to assist in minimize
flooding of properties adjacent to roadways with poor drainage conditions in Council District 2;
and
WHEREAS, this funding will assist the Department of Public Works in constructing the
necessary improvements; now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of
Public Works to assist with funding to address poor drainage conditions on roadways which
cause flooding on adjacent properties.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

APPROPRIATION: $9,000
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $9,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department of Public Works $9,000
Transfer to Cap Proj Fund- G
(Lei Lehua Street Drainage Improvements-
County, 110.388.5381.36)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Public Works and Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
