Due to collective bargaining <br /> increases for FY 2016-17, an increase of$1,309,036 was provided. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this additional <br /> $1,309,036 into the Fire EMS —S&W account. <br /> The Hawai`i Fire Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be <br /> placed on the June 7, 2017 Council agenda in order to complete this transaction during the current . <br /> fiscal year.
