Aloha My name is Billie Kamakea and I am a resident of Pahoa. I had been a part of your neighborhood watch and
business watch. When I have and do make calls to the police it does take along time for a response. I know it is because
the officers are spread thin as is. I know I have reported dozens of criminal activity that does not get resolved because
the perps have either vanished from the crime scene before the officers arrives or we have witnessed a vigilante justice
as well which was just as scary.We need more officer in in the Puna district and they need a pay raise as well for all the
long hours and lack of assistance.Thank you for your time and consideration in my request.
