The following are the recommendations of the Committee on Planning which
were considered at its meeting of October 12 , 1977:
COMMUNICATIONS
No. 374. 2 : PARK DEDICATION CODE
- Copy of letter to Hideto Kono, Director, Department of
Planning and Economic Development, from Mayor Herbert T.
Matayoshi dated September 26, 1977, informing him that
the Park Dedication Code will take effect on October 1 ,
1977. Informs the Planning Commission has reviewed the
Code and submitted its recommendations for possible
amendments to the County Council; saidbill has been
passed on first reading and is being further reviewed by
the Council ' s Committee on Planning. -

No. 541 : COUNTY REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO THE REVIEWING AND
APPROVING OR REJECTING OF SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS
From Councilman William S. Kawahara dated September 21,
1977, suggesting that changes be made to existing provi-
sions pertaining to the reviewing and approving or
rejecting of subdivision applications. Feels all
actions on subdivision approval or rejection should come
to the County Council for review to insure that fairness
be assured every applicant.
