The following are the recommendations of the Committee on Planning which
were considered at its meeting of December 14, 1977:
COMMUNICATIONS
No. 224.1: AMEND PDP NO. 1 AND EXTENSION OF TIME CONDITION
KEAUHOU 1st, NORTH KONA

Copy of letter to Don Walker of KHP, Inc. from Planning
Commission Chairman -Lorraine R. Jitchaku dated
November 21, 1977, informing that the Planning Commission
at its meeting of November 16, 1977 approved the request
to amend Planned Development Permit No. 1 originally
issued to Rainalter Holdings , Ltd. to allow the
construction of 116 condominium units instead of the
previously, approved 110 units and 6-month' s time
extension to commence construction of the units at
Keauhou 1st, North Kona. Further recommends that the
requests be granted subject to all other applicable
conditions stated in Planned Development Permit No. 1;
should these conditions not be met, the PDP may be
deemed null and void by the Planning Commission.

November 28, 1977, transmitting a letter and
resolution from Maui County Clerk James S. Ushijima
and asks the Committee on Planning to consider its
context and formulate a recommendation to the
Council.
Request Legislative Auditor to
prepare a resolution requesting
the State Legislature to defer
adoption of the Hawaii State
Plan.
