Your Committee on Planning to whichwas referred:
ACC, Comm. 1045 : CHANGE IN EXPIRATION DATE FOR PLANNING-BOARD
OF APPEALS COMMISSIONER
From Dr. Edward K. Fujimoto, Mayor' s
Administrative Aide, dated January 25 , 1979 ,
advising that the expiration date for
Ms. Eleanor Ahuna, who is presently serving
on the Planning-Board of Appeals Commission is
December 31, 1979 rather than January 28 , 1979
as originally submitted by their office and
passed by the Council on September 10 , 1975 .
The reason for this change is that Ms. Ahuna was
appointed to fill a five-year term from
December 31, 1974 to December 31, 1979; however
was given an expiration date of January 28 , 1979 .
In keeping with Section 13-4 of the County
Charter, asks that this change be made to be
consistent with the staggered term requirement;
recommends Council accept the change in expiration date for
Ms. Eleanor Ahuna, Planning-Board of Appeals member, from
January 28 , 1979 to December 31, 1979
