/6.- Comm. 1105 : COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION FOR
(Res. 408) FY 1979
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated April 5,
1979 submitting for adoption, a resolution'
authorizing the filing of an application to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for a
Block Grant for Fiscal Year 1979 under the Housing
and Community Development Act of 1974, and designating
the Mayor as its executor. Informs the amount of
this year 's entitlement for the County of Hawaii is
$271,000 and the projects proposed for funding
under this 1979 Grant emphasize housing, urban
development and upgrading of facilities.
recommends Council adopt Resolution 408 authorizing the filing of an
application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for a
Block Grant for Fiscal Year 1979 under the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974, and designating the Mayor as its executor.
