(Res. 420 ) GRANT FUNDING , SMALL CITIES COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM,

From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated April 19,
1979, informing the Department of Housing and Urban
Development accepted the pre-application for Small
Cities Comprehensive Block Grant funding for the
Hilo City Core Improvements program and invited the -
- County to submit a full application for $400,000,
• and requests adoption of a resolution authorizing
the filing of the application and designating the
Mayor as its executor;
recommends Council adopt Resolution 420 authorizing the filing of an
application with the Department of Housing and Urban Development- for
Community Development Block Grant funds in the amount of $400,000 and
designating the Mayor as its executor.
