(Bill 498, From Planning Director Sidney Fuke dated
revised) September. 6, 1979 , submitting for review and
consideration, a copy of revised Bill 498, •
Kailua Village Sign Ordinance;
recommends Section 5 (a) of Revised Bill 498 be further revised to
read as follows :
• "If the Director, after considering the Design Commission 's r_ecommenda-
tions., finds that the proposed sign is in compliance with all the
•
requirements of this ordinance and all applicable statutes and
ordinances, a sign permit Lshall be issued] may then be issued by the
Department of Public Works. "
Further recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 498, 2nd revision,
on first reading.
