Comm. 1560 : ESTABLISHMENT OF A BIG ISLAND BUSINESS PROMOTION
COMMITTEE
From Director of Research & Development A. Duane
Black and Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated May 13 ,
1980 , informing of plans to establish a Big Island
Business Promotion Committee and that they look
forward to the Council's support and involvement
as the project develops . At the present time, they
do not anticipate a need for additional funding for
the project but if funding is required in the future,
they will ask for consideration and support in an
appropriate manner;
recommends Council place the communication on file and support the
formation of a Big Island Business Promotion Committee.
