Matayoshi dated February 17, 1977 transmitting for information, the Hawaii County Mass Transportation Agency' s Systems Operating Report and statistics for the month of December, 1976. Receive and file. No. 37.1 : REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHT (Pet. 31.1/PWC-88) From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated February 11, 1977 informing that plans have been drawn for street lights - at the State Belt Highway and Glenwood Homestead Road and will be submitted for State Highway approval and Joint-Pole share with the utility companies. Upon approval, installation will be made thru capital improvement funds for improvement in the Puna District. Receive and file. No. Date: iAr ri 111 1111 PWC-6 - 2 - March 2, 1977 No. 131.1: AMENDMENT TO CITY OF HILO ZONING MAP FUTURE KUPULAU ROAD WIDENING From Planning Director Raymond Suefuji dated February 28, 1977 commenting on the 80-foot right-of-way for Kupulau Road and suggests action be taken on Bill 278 as there are several single-family residential building proposals which are being affected by the current alignment. Receive and file. No. 163 : DEDICATION DEED - KEOPU HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION From Assistant Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess dated January 20 , 1977, transmitting for acceptance the dedication deed from RMF Associates, Inc. , for the roadways and Grant of Easement for the drainage system within the Keopu Heights Subdivision. Advises the descriptions within the documents have been checked and found to be acceptable for dedication by the Department of Public Works; also that the subdivision roadways have been constructed according to County standards. amu, d- 163. 1 : From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated February 28, 1977 informing the drainage easement located mauka of the subdivision was established in consideration of the hydraulic design of the drainage system; that the necessary drainage construction within the easement has been completed and found acceptable for dedication. Garcia, Jr. , dated February 18, 1977 submitting for information copy of his letter to Chief Engineer Edward Harada requesting consideration of two tidal wave escape routes for the Puako Community. Alvey Wright, Director, Department of Transportation dated February 18, 1977 informing their Highways Division has started planning studies to determine the most feasible corridor alignment for the realignment, of Keaau-Pahoa Road and submits project location map.
