The following are the recommendations of the Committee on Public Works
which were considered at its meeting of July 6, 1977:
COMMUNICATIONS
No. 367: IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - HAWAIIAN ACRES COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
From Roger S. Dickson, Chairman of the Membership Committee,
Hawaiian Acres Community Association, dated May 26, 1977,
submitting results of questionnaire sent out to lot owners
which showed that they are in favor of formation of an
improvement district; therefore, makes formal application
to the Council for commencement of proceedings leading to
a road improvement district for the Hawaiian Acres Subdivision.
zoa_c, 367.1 : From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated June 20, 1977
stating that the improvement district petition filed with
the County •Council on May 26, 1977 is faulty in that it
is not signed by the required number of petitioners and the
signatures do not include at least 50 percent of the
resident owners who are living in the specific improvement
district boundary. The 'petition must generally describe
the limits of the proposed improvement district in order
to determine the required number of signatures.
Receive and file; and transmit copy
of C-367.1 to the Hawaiian Acres Community
Association for their information.
No. 368: SEWAGE OUTLET
From Antone Fernandez dated May 23, 1977, requesting
installation of a sewage outlet at ground level on his lot
while the sewage line is being put in on Kinoole Street.

commenting on C-368.
Receive and file; and transmit copy
of C-368.1 to Mr. Fernandez for his
information.
